Day 07 - 2nd and 3r colors are on!

Starting the painting of the 2 and 3rd color. Carefuly masking was necessary. Some spots of fade painting were made but I think the are over done, and hope with the weathering of the plane it will be toned down.

I think that is a really nice work for this kit. Some pictures for your pleausure.

Day 06 - The final paint job stars.

Hello again,

Started the definitive paint job of the kit. It's hard to paint in here, Brazil, due to the hit and humidity: The paint starts to dry very very fast.

Anyway, hope that tomorrow the 2nd color and 3rd color will be apllied.

Day 05 - Pre shading and paint starts

Hello,

Here goes an up-date to my Dora. Some filler and again some sanding with wet and dry paper sand from 400 to 2000 grip. I think the problem of the fitting on the wings is solved but we never know.

I will see that when a new layer of paint on the kit.

Painted also the spin and apllied some back ink for the pre-shade. As kit as raised lines, I will see how it works.

Day 03 of the "DORA"

I've been away from my workbench as my back have given me a lot of pain. Doing some intensive exercice and 30 sessions of physiotherapy make me feel better, but the pains still here.

But the show must go on and have done some progress in the (bad) kit. primer all over it and some nasty spots must the be worled out such as the joint of the wings to the fuselage.

So here goes some photos of the work. Further to came.
